Cryogenic Gate

A valve used in pipelines with temperatures as low as -196°C requires a longer bonnet length to prevent freezing of the packing and may undergo sub-zero treatment to prevent deformation at room temperature. To prevent overpressure, a vent hole should be incorporated into the disc. These valves are typically used in pipelines where rapid or frequent opening and closing operations are not critical.
