The Pressure Seal bonnet Swing Check valve is predominantly utilized in high-temperature and high-pressure power plants, where a gasket is inserted between the body and bonnet to prevent leakage by the internal pressure of the body pushing up the bonnet. It features a non-bolted structure without a Top Flange, making it lighter in weight compared to bolted bonnet valves, with shorter face-to-face dimensions. Typically, it is attached to pipelines mainly through butt welding. The primary purpose of the Swing Check Valve is to prevent fluid backflow, ensuring unidirectional flow within the system.
